Civil West provided site surveying, civil site planning assistance, property zoning coordination, and site design engineering support for the expansion of a memory care facility. The proposed improvements include a new building, road and parking expansions, extension of existing storm facilities, and water and sewer service extensions for the expanded campus.
After achieving City plan approvals, Civil West provided creative and timely construction support to aid in day-to-day construction activities.
This project consists of a 55 lot subdivision with dedicated roadways, sidewalks, stormwater collection system, water quality design, retention and detention facilities, sewer collection system, domestic water distribution system, landscaped right of ways, ADA accessible routes, rerouting/undergrounding of an existing Rogue River Valley Irrigation District Canal, street lighting improvements, street signage and striping, hydrology study, drainage study, power improvements, and data and communications improvements.
Civil West provided design for a new stick-built apartment building, including a new parking lot, onsite storm drainage, and utility design. Design for the storm drainage involved close coordination with the City of Independence. The project includes a retention pond to address storm drain run-off requirements.
